Terms of Service

Accounts

• You must give accurate details and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what your team members do.
• An account owner can invite managers and editors. The owner decides who has access and is responsible for removing people who should no longer have it.
• You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and at least 18.

Your Websites and Your Content

• You only connect websites you own or are allowed to manage, and you give us the access we need to publish to them (for example a WordPress application password).
• You own the articles, images and other content created for your sites. We don't claim any rights in them, apart from what we need to run the service for you.
• You are responsible for what you publish. Articles are written with AI and checked automatically, but AI can make mistakes and a fact-check cannot catch everything. Review articles before they go live, especially anything about health, money or law.
• We don't guarantee search rankings, traffic or income from any article, feature or plugin.

What You May Not Do

• Publish content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, or that infringes someone else's copyright or trademark.
• Use the service to run spam networks, copy other sites' content, or impersonate people or organisations.
• Publish health, financial or legal claims that could harm readers.
• Try to break, overload, reverse-engineer or get around the limits of the service, or resell it without our written agreement.

We may suspend an account or a connected site that breaks these rules. Where we can, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.

Plans, Allowances and Payment

• Plans include monthly allowances (for example articles, images and fact-checks), shown on the pricing page and in your account. Allowances reset each month, including on yearly plans, and unused amounts don't carry over.
• Top-ups last until the end of the month they're bought in.
• When an allowance is used up, that feature pauses until the next month or until you add a top-up.
• Prices are shown before you pay, in US dollars. Payments can be made in cryptocurrency, with more payment methods to follow.
• Refunds follow our refund policy: in short, a full refund within 7 days if fewer than 5 articles have been written.
• We may change prices or plans for future billing periods. We'll tell you before a change affects what you pay.

The Astute Plugins and the Speed Service

• The Astute Speed and Astute Speed Pro plugins are licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later.
• Astute Speed only contacts the speed service after an administrator connects the site and agrees. Free sites get critical CSS for single posts once a month and better compression for 100 images a month. A licence ($49, $99 or $199 a year, for 1, 3 or 10 sites) adds the rest of the site and more of both.
• Optimizing images on your own server is free and unlimited. Before changing an image, the plugin keeps the original so you can restore it. Keep your own backups as well.
• Critical CSS changes how pages load. If something looks wrong, switch it off in the plugin. Your site goes back to loading as before.

Third-Party Services

Write & Grow uses other providers to work, for example AI model providers to write and check articles, search providers for research, Google services for Search Console data, and payment providers for billing. Their availability is outside our control. The privacy policy explains what data goes to them.

Availability and Changes

We work to keep the service running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or remove features. If we remove something you pay for, we'll tell you in advance.

Liability

As far as the law allows, the service is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, lost traffic or lost data. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending Your Account

You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Content already published on your own sites stays there. Your account data is deleted as described in the privacy policy.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. When we make an important change, we'll tell account owners by email or in the app before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
